Dog Tired

Layla's picture

Today is Work Like a Dog Day.  This is the day to acknowlege all of those people who work like a dog.  People that work like a dog are not necessarily workaholics. Workaholics work all the time, people who work hard and put all of their effort into doing their job are the ones that work like a dog.  A great gift for someone who works like a dog would be this How to Work Like a Cat book. Maybe they could then get some rest and not be dog tired.

Working Like a Cat is Catching On

Layla, you're so right. In the history of the world, there has never been a workaholic cat. Cats know how to focus on what matters and to achieve their goals with a minimum of tail-chasing and fuss. In so many organizations where dogs rule, that's a new concept.

Cats also maintain their poise, dignity, and self-respect at all times. It pays off for anyone to follow their lead.

Cats are transforming corporate America by making it uncool to roll over, fetch, or even play dead to please anybody. Managers are realizing that they can move the cheese all day, but employees are no longer scampering through any maze to find it.

It's all about empowerment. Cats have confidence just from knowing they have claws, even if they never choose to use them.

Thanks for bringing attention to my book. It's also now available as a wall calendar for 2009, too.
