It's going to be incredibly hot this weekend, so I'm going to stay inside, make some chocolate chip cookies and watch some DVDs. This set is very high on my list of "gotta have" videos. DangerMouse: The Complete Series DVD MegaSet has 9 DVDs with 89 episodes, enough for a full-bore DangerMouse marathon! DangerMouse is a wacky and hilarious adventure featuring a secret agent mouse and his trusty bumbling sidekick hampster assistant, Penfold. Along the way they poke fun at James Bond, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Who, the movie Alien and Indiana Jones. So make a pitcher of iced tea, nuke some popcorn, pop in the DVD and - say, "Penfold... Shush!"

I love classic cartoons, and this Looney Tunes - Golden Collection DVD has 60 remastered and unedited cartoons of Bugs Bunny, Sylvester and Tweety, Daffy Duck and the gang from Merry Melodies all in a 4-disc set. It also includes a collection of wartime shorts. These are the original cartoons, so they have not been edited to make them "PC". This collection is intended for adult collectors of the LOONEY TUNES series and contains scenes that may not be suitable for children. Make some popcorn, I'm ready for the show! |

Today is Goof Off Day and it falling on a Saturday won't make a difference to lots of people. Saturday is generally a goof off day since we don't have to go to work. However you define goofing off, today is the day to do it. The cartoon is a perfect example of goofing off, sitting back on the beach with a cocktail. Sounds like a good way to spend the day. |
