Coffee and Poppy Mugs Gift Basket

Coffee and Poppy Mugs Gift Basket

The red poppy grows naturally in conditions of disturbed earth throughout Western Europe. Long before WWI it was a symbol of death, renewal and life. A Canadian surgeon, John McCrae, looked out at a cemetery Northern France and saw the poppies blooming between the rows of headstones and wrote the poem "In Flanders Fields".

If you see a Veteran selling poppy pins, buy one and wear it with pride. Give this Coffee and Poppy Mugs Gift Basket to honor someone as a 'thank you' for their service to their country.

Thanks Mr. Bore

Global Warming Mugs

Nobel Prize Day this year... a real winner.  This year's award is given to Alpants and his brilliant ideas on Global Warming.  We want to thank you for introducting this idea to us... and thank you for costing us taxpayers trillions of dollars to enlighten us.

The only good thing coming out of the entire ordeal are these neat mugs from UncommonGoods.  Pour in your coffee, and the warming begins on the outside of the cup!  How fun... watch closely... cause this is the only way you're gonna see it.

Oh yeah... and thanks for the Internet also.  Without you... reference guides would still be in business, and we'd all be fried to crisps.
