Today is a geek holiday, it is Embrace Your Geekness Day. This is the day to love the things that make you the geek that you are, it could be anything from sci-fi to computers,whatever it may be today is the day to get together with fellow geeks and celebrate. Want to start a conversation? Just wear this Star Trek Movie Dark Spock T-Shirt and bring on the Trekkies (or Trekkers, present company included. Check out the hairclip on my avatar.) Classic Trek vs. latest movie; ST:TNG vs. Voyager, DS9 vs. - well, you get the idea. Now that they have pushed 'Reset' and started the ST universe all over again, we get to see a whole new generation take to the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. Heck, most of the actors weren't even born when the original tv series went off the air! Now where did I put that Mr. Spock Decanter... Today is Embrace Your Geekness Day. A geek is seen as a negative term, but geeks are usually brainy and technically oriented. They are the ones who make a living off those of us who are a bit more technically challenged. So if you are a geek hold you head up high and be proud. |
