Frankenstein Friday just happens to be the same day as Halloween this year. Frankenstein Friday was created to honor the "mother" and "father" of Frankenstein. Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein in 1818 and Boris Karloff brought the monster to the big screen in 1931.
