Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake

Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake

Whether you're looking for a new dessert with traditional holiday flavors or a new spin on the same old pumpkin pie, this Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake should do the trick.  They maried the homey, earthy spices of a traditional pumpkin pie with the sensuous, velvety richness of our fabulous French chocolate.

And a chocolate crust, too. OMG!

Rum Pumpkin Tart

Rum Pumpkin Tart

Tired of that same old pumpkin pie every year? What to show a little flare and serve something fancy this time? Try this Rum Pumpkin Tart. Gourmet Seafood Gift Basket

Gourmet Seafood Gift Basket

In honor of the Bayo La Batre Taste of the Bayou Seafood Festival this coming weekend, I present to you this Gourmet Seafood Gift Basket. Sure, you won't find stone crab claws or lobster tails in the bayou, but who cares! Buy it for yourself. If you want to share, it's up to you!

Tip: If you go to the bayou, real seafood gumbo has crab claws and other crab parts in it. So don't freak out, okay?

Oyster Time

Oysters Rockefeller

As a previous resident of the Gulf Coast, I look forward to the months that end in an "r". Now that we are in the oyster season again, I look for new ways to cook my favorite shellfish. This is one way I haven't tried yet, and the good people at Gorton's have done all the work for us with these delicious Oysters Rockefeller. A mixture of spinach, parsley and breadcrumbs is folded together with jumbo oysters then baked on the half shell. Yum!

Just heat and eat - how easy is that? Great for an intimate party of two or a decadent party of one! Quanity discounts for bigger parties.

A Cup of Excellence

Santa Julia Coffee

This 100% classic bourbon coffee was selected as one of the best in the world by the Cup of Excellence International Jury.  According to the judges. El Salvador Santa Julia, brimming with Natural hints of chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, and citrus, strikes a perfect balance from its initial rich beginning to its smooth finish.

This full pound (yes, that's 16 oz.!) is grown with sustainable farming techniques by a family near near the top of the Santa Ana Volcano. Use this as a special treat for yourself, or, if they are very very lucky, your dearest friends.

Pecan Brittle - Texas Style!

Texas Pecan Brittle

My cousins from way up north (in the Carolina's) say pee'-can, but we deep southerners say puh-cahn'. However you say it, they are goooood!

Celebrate the end of Lent in a big way with Texas Pecan Brittle. Or, celebrate Monday (the day we never celebrate, let's face it). And if there is any left over until Tuesday, then you can celebrate Pecan Day on March 25th.

Only had peanut brittle? Go ahead, try something different!

Have another slice...

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Today is National Chocolate Chip Day. Since we know you drooled at the sight of this cheesecake on Friday and refrained from eating too much... (right Zane?) Have another slice of Chocolate Chip Cheesecake!

Eat What You Want Day

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake It's Eat What You Want Day and this is what I choose, Chocolate Chip Cheesecake.  Yum!  So eat what you want today.  Pick something that would make this day a real treat but remember, it's not eat as much as you want, just eat what you want.
