I actually know someone who is a Herper.  She loves these slimy, slippery green little animals. Not that there's anything wrong with that.  Actually, she loves all types of animals but the more green the better.  Of course she is a biology student who is going to save the world one little creature at a time.  Yeah, one of those kind.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.  There's nothing wrong with snakes, turtles, lizards and such, I just prefer other kinds...  of animals.
