If you love the night sky, then last night's total lunar eclipse was probably the highlight of your night.  I have always heard that the full moon brings out the "crazies", which is called the lunar effect.  This has been tested and cannot be supported by scientific studies, but I do not base everything on "scientific facts" as they can change their "facts" today, tomorrow, or next month.  Do the "crazies" come out during the full moon?   I think they do, werewolves (just kidding) criminals, stabbings, and even the 2000 Presidential Election has been associated with lunar cycles.   I guess we will not be able to use the lunar effect as an excuse when the next Presidential Election comes around, but with the choices we may need something to blame it on.
