Good Luck Daruma Doll

Good Luck Daruma Doll

A symbol of good luck and protection in Japan, a Daruma Doll is traditionally given to someone starting a new venture, celebrating a birthday, or at the beginning of a New Year. At the start of an endeavor, one eye is painted and a wish is made for good luck. The other eye is painted when the goal is reached.

There is a big change coming, and I have a feeling that with this next year we will need all the luck we can get to put our country on a new path. Maybe we should band together and send a bunch of these to the White House. What do you say?

Gourmet Sushi Kit

Sushi Making Kit

This Gourmet Sushi Kit contains all of the basic ingredients and utensils required to create a sushi feast except the filling. A detailed recipe book makes it easy.

If you're not feeling adventurous enough to use raw seafood, that's ok - just cook it first or make a California Roll (a kind of sushi containing cucumber, imitation crab stick, and avocado).

Hey, some people have to ease into a new cuisine. Take your time, we'll be here.

Chopsticks for Kids

Chopsticks for Kids

Let's face it, if you give your kids different foods when they are young, they won't be so picky when they get older.  Made from soft silicone rubber, this set of Chopstick Boy and Chopstick Girl come with melamine chopsticks or you can substitute your own.

These soft, dishwasher-safe chopsticks can really make eating fun, even if it is spaghetti night!
