Retro Geek Gear

LED Headlamp

Do you need a gift for a hardcore geek?  Then this LED 3rd Eye Headlamp will make a great gift for a wide range of geeks! From the computer technician geek to the gearhead geek this handy little gadget will make their jobs easier, well at least easier to see.

This little gadget reminds me of one of the best movies from the 80's, Sixteen Candles. Farmer Ted's geekier friends,  Bryce and Cliff seemed to always be sporting some kind of headgear. You gotta love any movie where the geek prevails in the end, and remember if you have $70.00 and a pair of panties you'll be safe as a kitten!

Gotham City Here I Come!

Dark Knight Bobble Heads

Today is the day that Batman fans have been waiting for the release of The Dark Knight movie.  This is one superhero movie that everybody needs to see.  The director Christopher Nolan pleased Batman fans with Batman Begins and I'm sure this sequel will be even more intense.  If you have been living with your head in the sand and have not seen the trailer for this movie then you need to take a look.........

This cool Dark Knight Bobble Head Set will be sure to make it into my collection of Batman memorabilia.

Blu-ray is the Champion!!!

Planet Earth Series Blu-ray DVD Set

If you having been waiting to see who the victor will be of the format wars before committing to buying a new player,  then wait no longer as Blu-ray is the champion (as if we didn't already know).  Toshiba went down for the count and announced that they will not be creating anymore HD-DVD's.  As Sun Tzu a Chinese General stated, "The best victory is when the opponent surrenders of its own accord before there are any actual hostilities...It is best to win without fighting."   Go Blu-ray!!

Now commit, and buy a new player, then begin to build your collection, start with one of the best-selling Blu-ray discs Planet Earth.  The Planet Earth series has some of the most amazing footage that I have ever seen, and it is even better on Blu-ray.
