Get Into the Twilight Zone

I'm In The Twilight Zone T-Shirt

Today is the 50th anniversary of the first showing of the Twilight Zone - and that was a Friday, too! I'm celebrating with this I'm In The Twilight Zone T-Shirt. Even though it only ran for 5 seasons, it is still well known and episodes continue to be broadcast and sold on DVD.  I've actually read some of the books, too.

This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

Help I'm Steppin' Into the Twilight Zone

I'm in the Twilight Zone T-Shirt

There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. ... This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

Now more than ever, I feel like this I'm in the Twilight Zone T-Shirt.

Those "Heinlein moments" just keep getting closer and closer together...

No More TV for You!

Screen Time Manager

Are you tired of your children spending to much time in front of the the TV, playing video games, or surfing the web.  Tired of setting time limits and your children sneaking and checking their MySpace page behind your back, then you need the Screen Time Manager from Brookstone.  When you say, "No more than 2 hours of TV a day" then this little machine will make sure that is all they get, because when they reach the designated limit it will cut it off.  With so many different channels and types of programs it is hard to keep up with what your kids are watching, and what they are exposed to on the internet.  Here are a few tips that you can use to help monitor what your children watch on TV and what they do online...

  • Check TV listings and read the reviews, check the ratings, most TV's have a V-chip so you can block shows with certain ratings.
  • Preview the programs.
  • Keep you computer in a common area of the house.
  • Restrict material that they can view.
  • Install software on your computer to track your kids activity online.
  • Monitor the information your kids post in chatrooms.

Danger Will Robinson! I'm For Sale!

The Genuine Lost In Space® B-9™ Robot

"Warning ! Warning! That does not compute."  "I'm for sale how could this be I'm a television classic, but WOW! check out that price $24,500!"  "I must be pretty valued by someone."  This has to be one of the most expensive geek products I've seen in awhile, but if you have a die-hard Lost in Space fan in your life they will so treasure this addition to their collection.  The robot has over 500 pre-recorded messages and you can even have them personalized.   Alright , you will either say to the owner of this robot that it is super cool, or you can always respond as Doctor Smith did to the robot"You bubble-headed booby!"
