Day of the Dead Clay Skeleton Figures

Day of the Dead Clay Skeleton Figures

Just when you thought the Halowe’en festivities were over, her comes Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead. But this holiday is not for being creepy or scary, despite the skeletons everywhere. It’s a Mexican holiday that combines All Saints Day and All Souls Day, and its origins go back thousands of years to an Aztec festival dedicated to a goddess called Mictecacihuatl. These Clay Skeleton Figures remind us of earthly pretensions while making us laugh at the same time.

Come Dance with the Green Fairy

Absinthe Mints Absinthe was called The Green Fairy (la Fee Verte) because it has a natural light green color. These Absinthe Mints have the herbal anise flavor of the original beverage without, of course, the high alcohol content. Comes in a cool tin with flying green fairies.

Never Gonna Do It Without The Fez On

Fez Hat

This type of hat originated in Fez, Morocco. Red is the most common color, but they can also be black or white. My grandfather was a Shriner, so he had a really fancy Fez. This Red Fez comes straight from Egypt through Virtual Khan. The perfect finishing touch for that genie costume!

No I'm never gonna do it without the fez on, Oh no. - Steely Dan

Steel Penny Collection

Steel Cents Collection

Today is Lost Penny Day. I knew someone who found a steel penny once, then promptly lost it, so this day reminds me of him. If he's lucky I'll get him this Steel Cents Collection, which were minted due to expectations of a copper shortage in 1943. Uncirculated.

Today is also Lincoln's Birthday, so these little guys are doing double duty.

Fiber-Optic Starry Sky Umbrella

Fiber-Optic Starry Sky Umbrella Umbrellas can be used to shelter you from the rain or shade you from the sun. The Starry Sky Umbrella is more for the night or a really dark and stormy day. Thanks to sophisticated fiber-optic technology, the stars really twinkle and glow, turning a classic black umbrella into an awesome light display. Tiny LEDs either shiny in a steady glow or blink on and off at your choosing. Pair this with someone walking with the "Blade Runner" umbrella and you'll have a unique parade.

Didn't I see this in "Men in Black" somewhere?

Great for Mardi Gras, too!
